GR2L is a Cleantech  company specialising in the recovery, purification and recycle of purge gases used in the Photovoltaics, Microelectronics and the Material processing industry sectors.

Its particular focus is  on Photovoltaics where argon is used in large quantities during the crystallisation of silicon into ingots.

The companys  flagship product, the ArgonØ ™, is a world first and utilises a unique Chemical Looping Combustion (CLC) reactor to recycle >95% of the purge gases from a vacuum furnace. Contamination in the thousands of ppm is reduced to typically less than 1 ppm.  The ArgonØ ™ provides  Point of Use recycling of argon for the first time benefitting clients with major cost savings and substantially reducing the environmental impact of their process.
