GR2L was founded by Dr Rob Grant FRSC and jointly developed with Cambridge University, entering into a partnership with UK Gas Technologies in 2010 to bring ArgonØ to market.
GR2L is a CleanTech company based in the UK. Our unique Point of Use argon gas recycle system for use with Si vacuum furnaces improves process profitability, reduces CO2 footprint and strengthens security of supply.
Co-located with Microgas Ltd, part of the UK Gas Technologies Group at their facility near Gatwick airport, UK, with on-going research and development taking place in the Cambridge University Chemical Engineering department.
The ArgonØ, as well as the newer systems the NitroØ and the KryptonØ are manufactured at the UK Gas Technologies facility in the UK
